EMERGENCY DENTAL

Toothache? Broken Tooth? Dental emergencies come when you least expect them, but don’t worry! Our SW Calgary Dentists are here for you!

Things we consider a Dental Emergency

Dental Tooth Pain can be caused by:

  • Dental trauma (tooth damaged from being hit)
  • Acute infection/inflammation in your teeth or gums
  • A broken tooth
  • A broken part of an appliance (ie. denture, ortho wires) that may be hurting your soft tissue
  • Clenching or grinding your teeth

You can still have an emergency even if you are not experiencing pain:

  • Broken or chipped tooth that disrupts chewing function or is aesthetically unpleasing
  • If one or more of your Invisalign attachments have come off
  • If one of your Invisalign aligners stopped seating all of a sudden

Regardless of the nature of the emergency we are more than happy to see you as soon as possible in order to properly assess, diagnose and treat your problem. Our primary goal will always be to get you out of pain and we strive to provide same day treatment if possible.

If you require a more involved procedure like a root canal or a new crown then we may need to complete your treatment at a subsequent appointment

We will then review the available treatment options with you and together determine the best course of action moving forward.

Before you leave you will have had your concerns addressed or will have a clear picture of how your care will proceed from this visit.
